Walk the beautiful Tamborine Mountain Rainforest
Enjoy beautiful Tamborine Mountain Rainforest Walks open every day of
the week, every day of the year! Walking tracks are provided in six
sections of Tamborine National Park. Most walking tracks are short and
can be walked within a few hours. The walks are relatively easy although
some tracks have short, steep grades. At usual walking pace, 3km takes
about an hour. Come on up!
Launch 1 – Windows of Opportunity – Artist Vanessa Stanley
The artworks shown are influenced by Vanessa Stanley's residency in
Norway at the Andoya Space Centre's Rocket Range. Stanley interacted
with the HIFiRE* launch team from DSTO and University of Queensland as
they prepared to launch their payload, a thrust experiment for
hypersonic combustion. This prelude exhibition shows initial/preliminary
works in video, sound and silkscreen prints. Silkscreen prints
produced collaboratively with Clinton Barker, Larkin Art Projects...
Craft Extravaganza Christmas Fair – 9th – 11th October 2015
Our acceptances are rolling in! We are again very pleased to have our
‘tin lady’ Jeanette exhibiting her amazing sculptures cut by hand from
recycled corrugated iron. Many of our regular visitors look forward to
buying more of Jeanette’s work.A craft show showcasing the hand made
craft of 50 local craft artisans.The show will feature all handmade
craft by 50 local and South East Queensland craft persons. Hand made
craft has largely disappeared from the shopping scene these days so…
Celebrate the Seasons – Exhibition by Jennifer Seale
Hilltop on Tamborine Mountain invites you to our new exhibition by
Jennifer Seale. The "Celebrate the Seasons" exhibition is open untill
1st November. The inspiration of spring has arrived with an exuberance
of colour and new beginnings. Jeni Seale says: "Our garden is bursting
into life after the starkness of winter, giving rise to my latest series
of paintings. They range from intense florals to garden settings and
produce from the garden with a selection of Australiana as well." Come

Green Shed Produce Market Tamborine Mountain
The “Green Shed”, located at The Showground, 386-398 Main Western Rd,
Mount Tamborine, Queensland, is the local market for fresh fruit &
vegetables, and is open EVERY Sunday from 7.00am to noon. We also sell
flowers, honey, nuts, herbs and plants.A wide variety of high quality,
freshly picked produce, is always available. The range available,
depends on the season. Prices are set at a level which provide farmers a
return sufficient to encourage them to continue their farming

Tamborine Mountain Country Markets
Saturate your senses at the Mount Tamborine Country Markets. Held at
the 6 acre Tamborine Mountain Showgrounds complex on the second Sunday
of every month. Duck and weave through the 200 or so stalls filled with
everything from original and exciting arts, crafts, clothing, potions
and jewellery....
Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival 2015
The Tamborine Mountain Scarecrow Festival is an annual event to
celebrate the great lifestyle we enjoy on the Mountain and want to share
with our visitors. It is essentially a huge Sculpture Show with the
subjects being Scarecrow related! Hundreds of scarecrows that have to be
seen to be believed...
